The East Side (E/S) 73 Gangster Crips, also known as the "7-Tray Gangster Crips", are an active and long standing African-American street gang located in the unincorporated community of Florence-Firestone area in East Los Angeles, California. This gang falls under the Gangster Crips or Tray(3x) "card" and have been active for over several generations. Their territory stretches from the 110 Harbor Freeway in the west towards Avalon Blvd. in the east, between Florence Avenue in the north to 75th Street in the south. Despite falling under the Tray(3x) "card", the 73 Gangster Crips are friendly towards the East Coast Crips and are part of the "Movin Coast to Coast" alliance. Additionally, the 73 Gangster Crips are also cliqued up with their closest allies: the 73 Hustler Crips. Other allies include the Eight Tray Gangster Crips. The 73 Gangster Crips have been long time bitter rivals of the Mad Swan Bloods for over 20 years. Other rivals include the Raymond Avenue Crips, 112 Neighbor Hood Crips and the Front Street Watts Crips. In June 16, 2009, the 7-Tray Gangster Crips, along with the 73 Hustler Crips, the Main Street Mafia Crips, the Mad Swan Bloods and Florencia 13, were included a gang injunction in an attempt to quell gang activity around Fremont High School, located on 76th Street and San Pedro Street [1].
