97 Gangster Crips

The East Side (E/S) 97 Gangster Crips are an African American street gang founded in the early 1980's in South Los Angeles, California. Their territory is concentrated in the 97th street area, east of the 110 Freeway and west of Main Street. This gang identifies itself under the Gangster Crips/East Side Crips card (although geographically, their territory is located west of Main Street) and are allies of most neighborhoods also claiming the same card. Their allies include all East Coast Crips as well as the PJ Watts Crips. The 97 Gangster Crips are considered rivals of the Denver Lane Bloods, 98 Main Street Mafia Crips, all Hoover Criminals, all Avalon Gangster Crips, the Broadway Gangster Crips and the Rollin 90s Neighborhood Crips. They are cliqued up with the 87 Gangster Crips.
