Connection Young Bloods

The Connection Young Bloods are comprised of young adults from the Grassways community, better known as Connections; a subsidized housing complex in the Jane and Finch area of North York. Although police claim that this gang is a criminal threat to the community, older members of the Connection Young Bloods insist that they are animate about 'protecting' their community and those who live in it, although their lifestyle at times conflict with their ideology. CYB members are very territorial in nature, loyal to their neighbourhood with a strong sense of community pride that trickles down to younger members united under the Bloods card. Although members are involved in an array of different criminal activities, police stated that they are more business orientated where as the Crips who dwell north of Finch Ave. West are known as the aggressors in most conflicts between the two groups. This gang's close proximity to rival turfs in the Up-Top section of Jane and Finch puts them in constant fear of retaliatory shootings from rivals. The Connection Young Bloods are clicked up with other Blood sets from the Grandravine and Yellowstone communities (as well as the Ardwick Blood Crew) and are sworn enemies of the Driftwood Crips, Shoreshot Crips, the Trethewey Gangsta Killaz, Trethewey Gangster Crips, Jamestown Crew and Falstaff Crips.
