One of the funkiest and most sampled men alive. It would be impossible to overstate the importance of James Brown in popular music. He is in a small category that includes John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and Elvis Presley who can truly be said to have influenced everyone who came after him.
