Gardena Shotgun Crips
The West Side (W/S) Gardena Shotgun Crips (SGCs) are a large and long standing primarily African-American street gang established in the 1970s in the western district of Gardena, California. Their territory stretches from E. Vermont Avenue and Crenshaw Blvd. just west of Normandie Avenue. Members of this gang are known to sport Green Bay Packers sports apparel for the letter “G” to represent “Gardena” or “Gun”. Additionally, the color green is the official color representing both the city of Gardena as well as the Shotgun Crips (along with the traditional color blue associated with the Crips). The ShotGun Crips are cliqued up with the Gardena Paybacc Crips and are friendly towards the 74 Hoover Criminals Gang, Whitsett Avenue Gangster Crips as well as the Eight Tray Gangster Crips. Their rivals include the Hawthorne Piru, the West Side Pirus and the Athens Park Bloods among the Bloods. They also rival all Rollin 0's and Neighbor Hood Crip gangs including the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin 90s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin 100s Crips, the Raymond Avenue Crips and all East Coast Crips. The Shotgun Crips also rival the Hispanic South Los 13 and other gangs in the South Bay Region of Los Angeles, California.
