Gordonridge a.k.a Ghetto ridge a.k.a G-ridge
Completed in the 1970's and owned by the TCHC, 10, 30 and 40 Gordonridge Place are geared to income high-rises located in the intersection of Midland Avenue and Danforth Road in the Kennedy Park (Ward 35) community in southwest Scarborough in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This building is surrounded by other adjective buildings and nearby public green space such as Corvette Park, Glen Sheppard Park, Greystone Park, Kitchener Park and Mid-Scarborough C.C. & Arena. Although the quality of life of its residence is improving, tenants had publicly complained of cockroach problems, cracked ceilings and half-finished maintenance work within these buildings, along with the very public display of drug use among users.
