Neighbor Hood Pirus
From Rap Dictionary
The West Side (W/S) Neighbor Hood Pirus are a large African American street gang in the western section of Inglewood, California founded in the 1970's. This gang was sanctioned in the Blood Alliance by the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods gang, who members maintain a close relationship with. Other allies include the Avenue Piru Gang, Queen Street Bloods and the Original Block Piru 151 in Compton. The NHP gang is also connected to the Double II Bloods from Newark, New Jersey. They occupy a large area from Centinela Avenue in the north to Florence Avenue to the south between La Cienega Blvd and Edgewood Street, just west of Centinela Avenue. This gang is also represented in Compton by the 145 Neighborhood Pirus. The Neighbor Hood Pirus used to have a fierce rivalry with the Crenshaw Mafia Gang, Denver Lane Bloods and Inglewood Family Gang, which counted for the largest and one of the few Blood on Blood rivalries in Los Angeles. Rivals include the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, Osage Legend Crips, 102 Raymond Avenue Crips, Imperial Village Crips, Rollin 100s, Rollin 90s, and the Inglewood 13 gang.
