The West Side (W/S) 46 NeighborHood Crips (46NHC) are a small, yet long standing African-American street gang founded in West Los Angeles, California during the 1970s. This gang falls under the Neighbor Hood Crips or Deuce(2x) card and has the distinction of being one of the longest standing African-American street gang in South Los Angeles, California. Their neighborhood stretches from Western Avenue in the east towards Arlington Avenue in the west, between Vernon Avenue in the north to 48th Street in the south. The 46 Neighborhood Crips are cliqued up with their closest geographical allies: the Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips and the 48 Neighbor Hood Crips, and are friendly towards most street gangs under the Neighbor Hood Crips card and Rollin 0's umbrella such as the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips and the 67 Neighbor Hood Crips. The 46 Neighbor Hood Crips have been at war with gangs under the Gangster Crips card since the feud between the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips began. Rival Crip gangs include the Eight Tray Gangster Crips, 51 Trouble Gangster Crips and the 52 Hoover Gangster Crips. They also rival the 43 Hoover Criminals Gang as well. Being Crips, the 46 NHC are natural rivals of all Blood gangs, specifically the Harvard Park Brims, Van Ness Gangster Brims and the Fruit Town Brims. The 46 Neighborhood Crips are often mistaken for the 46 Top Dollar Hustler Crips and the Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips, who are their own independent gangs. However, all three gangs were included in a gang injunction in 2007 to help cease the gang related activities within their territories and surrounding areas [1].
