Miami is a major city and resort in southeastern Florida, in the United States. It is the county seat - the largest city in the South Florida metropolitan area, and is comprised of Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County, making up the largest metropolitan area in the Southeastern United States, and the sixth largest metropolitan area in the United States. However, based on city limits, it is the second largest city in Florida. Miami has been given the nickname "Vice City".
