KRS One stands for "Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone". KRS One was married to Ms. Melodie, but divorced her. KRS was once homeless and living in shelters. His is the self-proclaimed "teacher" of Hip-Hop and founded the Temple of Hip-Hop in New York City.
