Real Rap Fans is a semi-satirical, yet somewhat truthful website, which denounces all forms of commercial rap. Among the rappers that they take aim at are 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Eminem. They promote other artists who they feel are not sell-outs like Tupac Shakur and Nas.

The site is a low-budget enterprise originally set-up by just a few, which rapidly grew to encompass many within Ireland and the U.K., as well as mainland Europe and North America.

Many accuse the site of being racist due to its focus on the physical features of 50 Cent, something the webmasters strongly deny and they have placed a strong warning on their homepage.

What is alarming about Real Rap Fans (or RRF) is the sudden boom in similar sites, criticising musicians from all across the political spectrum, especially Gangster Rap.
