Regent Park Crew

The Regent Park Crew were once the major gang operating out of Regent Park south in the downtown area of Toronto, Canada (formelly known as Cabbagetown) during the 1980's to mid 1990's. Made up of mostly (but not exclusively) blacks with Nova Scotian or Caribbean heritage, its members were major distributors in the cocaine trade and were responsible for many unsolved acts of violence and homicides. The city's initiative to simmer down gun violence in and around the Regent Park area resulted in the incarceration and deportation of the gang's most prominant and violent members, creating a power vaccume which ultimately saw the destruction of this gang and, for a while, devided gang members in "North Regent" from members in "South Regent". Rival neighbourhoods included Jane and Finch, Flemingdon Park and the P.O.
