Clifford J. Harris Jr.

The name \"T.I.\" came up like this: T.I.\'s original nickname was \"Tip\", but when he pronounced it on the Mic it sounded like \"Chip\" because of his Dirrty South-dialect. So he went over to saying \"T.I.P.\". Later on he was signed by a label that also had a contract with Q-Tip, and to avoid mix-ups T.I.P. was asked to change his name into \"T.I.\"

He claims to be King Of The South, but some would argue that Scarface, who is the true king, is more deserving of that title.
